Fly in the Spring at Critter Barn

Join us in the Spring Fling of 2021! April 3-10, open 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 pm, closed Sunday. Meet the spring babies: Ducklings, chicks, bunnies, lambs, children and calves! Come watch the changing season at Critter Barn. See the precious new life in the barn and the maternity skills of today’s Critter Barn animals. Make sure you, your family and friends are having a great time in the barn.

IPad photo at Fredrick Meijer Gardens

10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Join Fredrick Meijer Gardens in an iPad photography class where you learn how to use the Book Creator app to combine text, images, audio and video into a fun digital keepsake. Capture and decorate creative still life using unique Meijer Gardens themed brackets, action shots, shots and videos. IPads will be available for classroom use.

Spring break at the outdoor discovery center

Spend your spring break at the Outdoor Discovery Center studying a variety of animals and plants from Michigan. This camp is for children aged 7-11. Registration will close on April 5 at 5 p.m. The Camp will run from April 6 to 8 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. here.

YMCA Spring Break Day Camps

Campers of the day will enjoy activities such as sports, crafts and outdoor play. Every day is full of new experiences where each child explores new talents and interests while developing and strengthening friendships along the way.

BRICKLIVE Oversized! | John Ball Zoo

Be the first to see all your favorite Supersized animals at John Ball Zoo. In a new exhibition, an adventure with animals from toy bricks bigger than life, with sculptures created with almost 2 million toy bricks, are located around the John Ball Zoo. Check out these fun sculptures throughout Spring Break.

Blandford Nature Center Fun!

Take a look at the Blandford Nature Center this Spring Break. They have tons of outdoor activities to help you have fun in nature. Fred & Dorothy Fichter butterflies are in bloom Frederik Meijer Gardens

Fredrick Meijer Gardens will host Butterflies and Blooming. This year, more than 60 species of butterflies from Asia, Africa and Central and South America will fly in the warm, green environment of the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory. This year’s theme will highlight gardening exhibitions, butterflies, moths and caterpillars in and under glass. See their extended hours throughout April and the night lights of Tuesday, where you can look for butterflies in the dark. Prices are $ 4 for children. $ 14.50 for adults.

Spring break at the Grand Rapids Public Museum

Spend the Spring Break at the Grand Rapids Public Museum April 2 – 11. Enjoy live science shows, exciting exhibitions and planetarium performances, as well as a festive dining experience featuring an ART: Caribbean Fusion Cuisine food truck along with a variety of drinks and beer from City Built Brewing Company.
