How To Get A Visa For Thailand
Tourist visa for Thailand
If you are a passport holder from a country not covered by the Visa Exemption Rule or you are coming to Thailand for a purpose other than travel (such as business or study) or you want to stay for more than 30 days in total, then you must apply for a visa in Thailand.
Obtaining a tourist visa before entering Thailand will allow you to stay in the country for up to 60 days, which can also be extended for another 30 days by making a visa. This can increase your maximum stay to 90 days, a great choice if you are planning a longer stay.
When applying, you can choose Single Registration (valid for 3 months) or Multiple Registration (valid for 6 months), make sure you choose what suits your personal circumstances. There is a charge of about 45 USD for this visa.
If you are on a one-way tourist visa and leave the country before 60 days, the rest of your days will be lost, something you must remember!
